The official lauch of Samsung Android 14 is scheduled later this year, while eligible Galaxy flagships devices will get access to the One UI 6 via Beta program. Just before the roll out a Samsung rep has share a bad news about One UI 6 based on Android 14 rollout plan.
While it is not at all a good news and many people who were waiting eagerly for the rollout would be very disappointed. But on the positive side we can see that Samsung is commited to provide user stable and reliable update for its users. The decision came as a result of bugs and glitches that were discovered during testing.
After the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 were also scheduled to receive the Android 14 update in the second week of August. Given the delay in the beta rollout the release schedule for these devices might also be affected. Samsung had plans to launch One UI 6 in Germany first followed by the US and India. With the current delay it remains uncertain if these plans will remain unchanged.
Android 14 brings an array of exciting changes including improved handling of background apps, enhanced content sharing between applications a customizable lock screen and new privacy and security features. Samsung is very much commited to provide a stable update may be for a short run user may be disappointed but it will be very ideal situation if they recieve a bug free experience later after the launch.
