Samsung One UI 5.1.1 update features and improvements

The Korean tech gaint launches the much awaited One 5.1.1 beta program on 26th July with many exciting featurs and improvements. The exciting update is initailly available for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Tab S8 users and the other eligible devices will be getting this feature in near future.

Easier Multitasking On One UI 5.1.1

A significant improvement can be noticed in the app preview on the recent apps screen. You can now easily preview an app’s running state such as split screen, full screen or popup on the recent apps screen. You can directly switch from pop up screen to split screen. Also you can now move the pop up screen with ease ,drag sideways and tap to bring it back again.

Taskbar

We can now display 4 recently used apps on the taskbar. The taskbar automatically resizes to make it easy to access the home button, recent apps button, and back button at the bottom of the screen when fewer than 7 icons are shown there.

Flex Mode

A number of applications that enable multiple windows can use Flex Mode Panel. Fold the phone, activate the Flex Mode panel option and tap the button shown on the navigation bar.

Quick Share

Users may now safely share files with others including those who are far away using Quick Share. Setting an expiration date for shared files and removing them from sharing as necessary are options for file sharing. Additional security can be added by users by preventing others from saving or sharing shared files.

In One UI 5.1.1 there have been significant improvements made to the Camera and Gallery apps. Users can now customise the watermark date and time notation to match their preferences. Users may now more easily access manual factors like ISO and shutter speed thanks to changes made to Pro Mode in Flex Mode. Also, users may now choose multiple photographs simultaneously in capture view and use sliders in the gallery to apply filters and colouring effects.

Customizable Samsung Internet Layout

The Samsung Internet screen layout can be customised by users to suit their preferences. This includes shifting the address bar to the bottom of the screen, where it will be joined by the tab and bookmark bars.
